Course Overview
The M.Sc. in Elderly Care Management prepares experienced professionals to lead, innovate and improve elderly care services in complex, evolving health and social care systems. Integrating management, policy, law, social and behavioural sciences, the programme develops advanced skills in governance, quality improvement, finance, leadership, human resources, palliative and end-of-life care, mental health in ageing and evidence-based practice.
You will critically review Maltese and international care models, evaluate legal and economic frameworks, and learn to design and implement strategies that improve service quality, safety and outcomes for older people. The programme culminates in an independent dissertation that demonstrates scholarly research and practical impact.
