Dissertation (30 ECTS)
An independent research project demonstrating critical analysis, technical insight, and innovation in blockchain or cryptocurrency applications.

Introduces key research methodologies and analytical skills, covering research design, data collection, analysis and ethical implications for postgraduate finance work. It centres on practical engagement to build confidence in conducting and applying research in academic and professional contexts.
Cryptocurrency Information Systems and Resources
Provides a conceptual framework for understanding the information systems and digital resources that support cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and blockchain platforms. The module also explores trading issues and practical resource management in the crypto ecosystem.

Dissertation

To complete your MSc degree in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, you must submit the dissertation module as a research and strategic analysis report.

The dissertation enables you to produce original research on a clearly defined topic whilst developing advanced knowledge, understanding, capabilities, and professional competencies relevant to your programme of study.

  • Bachelor’s degree (Level 6) in Finance, IT, Computer Science, or a related field and 3 years of relevant work experience; or
  • Level 5 Diploma / Higher Diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Preference is given to applicants with experience in financial management, banking, or fintech operations.
  • English Proficiency: IELTS 6.0 (overall) or equivalent qualification.
  • Equivalent of a Level 6 Bachelor’s degree.
