Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • Two A-levels (one preferably in a science subject) or an equivalent MQF Level 4 qualification.

  • Biology, Chemistry, or Health & Social Care at Intermediate or Advanced level.

  • English proficiency: IELTS 6.0, OET (B in Speaking, C+ in Writing), or MATSEC Grade 3 in English.

  • Police Conduct Certificate (clean conduct record).

Alternative Pathway:
Applicants without an MQF Level 4 qualification but with substantial care industry experience and O-Level education may be accepted upon successful completion of the Level 4 Preparatory Programme offered by IDEA College, and through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process.

  • Equivalent qualification to MQF Level 4 (with science subject).

  • English proficiency: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

  • Verification of police conduct and eligibility to work/study in healthcare.

  • RPL available for candidates with professional healthcare experience.
